What your skincare routine?

I am a bit weird about my skincare and cleanse my face 3 times a session twice a day!

On my face I use Neutrogena Hydrating Cleansing Wipes, followed by Neutrogena Spot Stress Control Facial Scrub, followed by Boots Tea Tree Foaming Wash. During the day I apply Nivea Visage Oil Free Moisturising Fluid, then Clinique Super Defense. In the evening I use Boots Tea Tree Moisturising Overnight Gel. On my body I use Dove Beauty Body Lotion and shea butter on any really dry bits. At night I use Re-Gen Oil.

What one beauty product couldn t you live without?

I couldn’t live without good old shea butter. My mum gets it in its purest form from Ghana and it’s amazing. I sometimes get dry patches on my face and use it on them as well as on eczema. It’s also great as a lip balm, a scalp moisturiser, softening heels and great on knees and elbows. It’s the best thing ever!

Who do you most admire for their style and beauty and why?

At the moment I am loving Rihanna’s look. She isn’t afraid of trying new things and knows what works for her. She has a great figure and always exudes confidence – I wish I could do that!

What in your make up bag?

Being a beauty editor, I am a total magpie when it comes to make-up. I love Daniel Sandler, and have been lucky enough to have him do my make-up for special occasions (including for the UK Jewellery Awards, last week, which is the picture of me above). I love Daniel make-up range, especially the Smart Base and Concealer and his primers. I also love Inika primer and Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil, New ID smokey eye pencil and Jemma Kidd Bio Veil. Dior Skinflash is a favourite concealer and I also really love Dior mascara.

What your skincare routine?

In my job, I have to try out lots of different products (it a dirty job, but hey, someone has to do it!). I love Darphin products and am currently enjoying the new Predermine anti-wrinkle serum and fluid. I love the aromatic cleansing balm of this beauty house too. I always cleanse, tone and moisturise every morning and every evening. I usually use Dermalogica or Darphin cleansers, and an Elemis or Darphin moisturiser. I like a rich cream as my skin is very dry, and so Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream is a godsend. I also love those masks that you can sleep in, Carita and Collin both do great versions. You wake up and it like you have been having a facial all night.
I love Darphin shower cream with red berries, a great exfoliator to use in the shower. And I am also a fan of Elemis Milk Bath and Frangipani Monoi Melt. For me, when it comes to bodycare, it all about the smells and feeling silky smooth after application.

What one beauty product couldn t you live without?

My favourite moisturiser is Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, and I probably could not live without that. But also don t let me go without my Darphin serum or Dermalogica AgeSmart Thermalfoliant.

Who do you most admire for their style and beauty and why?

I love the whole vintage and 50s look, which really suits my figure, so I think Dita Von Teese is my style icon. Along with Audrey Hepburn of course!
